Aryna Sabalenka Wins WTA Player of the Year

Aryna Sabalenka was named WTA Player of the Year after securing two Grand Slam titles and finishing 2024 as the world’s top-ranked player, with victories at the Australian Open and the U.S. Open, along with a 56-14 win-loss record. Emma Navarro was awarded the WTA's Most Improved Player for 2024 after a remarkable rise in women's tennis, moving from a world ranking of 38 at the end of 2023 to 8 in 2024, and claiming her first career title at the WTA 250 Hobart International. Paula Badosa was recognized as Comeback Player of the Year, while Lulu Sun earned the Newcomer of the Year title. The Doubles Team of the Year was awarded to Sara Errani and Jasmine Paolini, who won a doubles gold at the Paris Olympics.
