DC Comics Spotlight on Powerful Anti-Heroes and Underrated Villains

DC Comics has developed a range of complex characters, including powerful anti-heroes like Artemis, an Amazon warrior with deadly weapons and impressive strength, and Poison Ivy, who evolved from villain to environmental protector using her control over plant life. James Gunn, known for his work in the DC Universe, directed the edgy 2010 superhero film Super, a dark, violent black comedy that explores the grim realities of vigilante justice through its flawed characters. While iconic DC villains such as Joker and Lex Luthor are well-known, there are underrated villains like Scandal, a mercenary with a complex past, and Prometheus, an anti-Batman whose dark abilities challenge traditional heroism.
