Han Lee Pleads Guilty in Prostitution Ring Case

Han Lee, a 42-year-old manager of a high-end prostitution ring operating along the East Coast, has pleaded guilty to conspiracy and money laundering charges in federal court. Lee admitted to running an interstate brothel network that exploited primarily Asian women, enticing them to travel for prostitution while maintaining customer confidentiality through elaborate verification processes. Her operation, which began in July 2020, utilized luxury apartments in Massachusetts and Virginia and advertised services online, with prices ranging from $350 to $600 per hour. Lee faces potential penalties of up to 25 years in prison, with her sentencing scheduled for December 20, 2024. She is part of a trio indicted along with two others, Junmyung Lee and James Lee, who are also facing charges related to the ring. Prosecutors are committed to holding accountable not only those who operated the scheme but also the wealthy clients who patronized it, whose identities remain undisclosed.
