EXL Opens International AI Headquarters, Innovation Lab in Dublin

EXL, a global data and AI company headquartered in the US, has opened its new international business headquarters and AI Innovation Lab in Dublin's Docklands, reflecting its commitment to Ireland as a strategic hub for AI talent and innovation. The AI Innovation Lab will initially employ 60 specialists focused on developing industry-specific AI solutions across sectors like healthcare, insurance, banking, utilities, travel, transportation, and retail. Since establishing operations in Dublin in 2023, EXL plans to expand its workforce in Ireland to 200 AI and data engineering specialists by 2026. The company collaborates closely with Irish universities and research agencies such as UCD, TCD, and CeADAR to foster AI talent and innovation through programs and hackathons. EXL's Chairman and CEO Rohit Kapoor emphasized the company's confidence in Dublin's talent pool to help revolutionize industries with generative AI and deliver AI-powered solutions globally. The firm reported strong financial results in early 2025, with significant revenue growth and improved operating margins, underscoring its robust business performance.
