Multiple US Cities Host Large-Scale Pride Month Festivals

As Pride Month approaches, various cities across North America are gearing up for a wide range of celebrations highlighting LGBTQ+ pride. Rhode Island will host numerous events throughout June, including the large PrideFest in Providence featuring a daytime festival and an illuminated night parade, as well as regional celebrations like South County Pride and Newport Pride. In Las Vegas, Easy’s Cocktail Lounge at ARIA will hold a charity event with live music benefiting The Trevor Project, a nonprofit supporting LGBTQ+ youth. Edmonton is extending Pride festivities through the summer, starting with Drag Fest in early June and culminating in the return of the Pride Parade in late August after a seven-year hiatus, aiming to engage newcomers and youth in the community. Other localized events include a Pride party at Scion Cider focusing on community connection and identity expression. These celebrations emphasize unity, visibility, and support for LGBTQ+ individuals across diverse communities.
