NBC Sports Launches Madden NFL Cast Broadcast

NBC Sports, in partnership with the NFL, EA Sports, and Genius Sports, will debut the 'Madden NFL Cast' as an alternate broadcast for the Houston Texans vs. Kansas City Chiefs game on December 21, streaming exclusively on Peacock. This innovative broadcast will integrate live game footage with elements from the Madden NFL 25 video game, featuring animated overlays, route trees, and player ratings, leveraging real-time data from the NFL's Next Gen Stats. The commentary team includes Paul Burmeister, former NFL quarterback Kurt Benkert, six-time Pro Bowl wide receiver Chad Ochocinco, and professional Madden player Henry Leverette. This marks the first time NBC has produced an alternate broadcast for an NFL game, following similar initiatives by CBS and ESPN. The Madden NFL Cast aims to engage both football fans and gamers, enhancing the viewing experience with interactive features.
