Man Charged in Banbury Rape Case, Glasgow Assault Investigated

A 26-year-old man, Amos Makuyana, has been charged with rape following an incident involving a woman in her late teens in Banbury, UK. The alleged assault occurred in Newlands Place off Broad Street during the early hours of February 1, leading to minor injuries for the victim, who has since been discharged from the hospital. Makuyana has been remanded in custody and is set to appear at Oxford Magistrates’ Court. In a separate incident, police in Glasgow are investigating the rape of a woman at an underpass on Garscube Road, reported around 8pm on February 3. The area has been cordoned off for investigations, and no arrests have been made in connection with the Glasgow case. Authorities are urging witnesses to come forward to aid their investigations in both incidents.
