Nokia, Honeywell, Numana Partner on Quantum-Safe Networks in Quebec

Numana, a Québec-based tech accelerator, has partnered with Nokia and Honeywell Aerospace Technologies to develop Quantum-Safe Networks (QSN) aimed at enhancing secure communication technologies amid the challenges posed by quantum computing. The collaboration will utilize Numana's Kirq Quantum Communication Testbed to innovate and validate quantum-resistant technologies for businesses in Québec and beyond. Honeywell will contribute its quantum encryption technology, while Nokia will provide expertise in post-quantum networking, focusing on advanced IP routers and cryptographic technologies. This initiative aligns with Canada's National Quantum Strategy and aims to bolster the country's position in global cybersecurity. The partnership is also set to provide education and training programs for businesses on implementing these advanced technologies.
