Table Mountain Casino Begins Alcohol Service, Raises Gambling Age to 21
Table Mountain Casino Resort is implementing significant changes to its gaming floor policies by introducing floor-wide alcohol service earlier than initially planned, starting August 20, 2025, instead of September 3. Correspondingly, the minimum age to enter and gamble on the casino floor will increase from 18 to 21 years old, requiring valid identification to comply with California Alcoholic Beverage Control regulations. While patrons will be able to order beers, wines, and specialty cocktails while gaming, individuals under 21 will still have access to non-gaming areas such as restaurants, the food court, hotel, gift shop, and entertainment venues when accompanied by an adult 21 or older. The casino’s board chairman emphasized that this initiative aims to enhance hospitality and create a memorable guest experience, complementing recent expansions including a new 110,000 square-foot gaming and restaurant complex opened in 2022. However, the changes have raised concerns among local residents and cyclists about increased drinking potentially leading to more accidents in the surrounding area. Table Mountain Casino Resort has assured it will strictly adhere to all state regulations and maintain responsible alcohol service standards throughout the gaming floor.
