Disney+ to Release Beatles '64 Documentary

Disney+ is set to stream a new documentary titled 'Beatles ’64' on November 29, produced by Martin Scorsese and directed by David Tedeschi. The film chronicles The Beatles' first visit to the United States, featuring never-before-seen footage captured by documentarians Albert and David Maysles, along with new interviews from Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr. It highlights the band's arrival in New York on February 7, 1964, and their iconic debut performance on The Ed Sullivan Show, which captivated over 73 million viewers. The documentary aims to present both the spectacle of Beatlemania and a more intimate portrayal of the band's dynamics during their rise to fame. Additionally, the film has been restored in 4K, enhancing the visual experience for viewers. To accompany the release, all seven American Beatles albums will be reissued on vinyl on November 22.
