A tour bus carrying 28 passengers overturned on Interstate 490 in Chili, New York, early Thursday morning, critically injuring one individual and sending all others to hospitals. The bus, which had departed New York City and was en route to Niagara Falls, rolled over around 7 a.m., with first responders finding some passengers dazed and confused along the highway. Monroe County Sheriff Todd Baxter reported that two individuals were trapped inside the bus, which had flipped on its side and rotated 180 degrees. The cause of the accident remains under investigation, though initial reports indicate that there is no suspicion of drugs or alcohol involvement. Governor Kathy Hochul expressed gratitude for the first responders' efforts and extended prayers for those affected by the incident. The bus was operated by Tribal Sun, a Massachusetts-based company, which has not yet commented on the accident.
