FBI Houston Analyst Arrested on Child Pornography Charges

Brian Vincent Rausch, an FBI analyst based in Houston, was arrested in Cypress, Texas, after a multi-agency investigation uncovered multiple videos of child sexual abuse in his possession. Authorities executed a search warrant at Rausch's home, leading to the discovery of the material. Rausch faces seven felony charges, including five state counts for possession of child pornography (three first-degree and two second-degree felonies) and two federal charges. The investigation was conducted by the FBI, Harris County District Attorney’s Office, Houston Police Department, Texas Department of Public Safety, and Department of Homeland Security. Rausch was booked into Harris County Jail. Officials have reiterated their commitment to fighting child exploitation.
