Unrivaled Women's Basketball League Unveils Teams

The new professional women's basketball league, Unrivaled, is set to debut on January 17, featuring six teams and a total of 34 confirmed players, including WNBA stars. Each team will consist of six players competing in a 3-on-3 format on a smaller court, with a unique structure involving four quarters and a shot clock. Angel Reese will play for the Rose Basketball Club alongside other notable players such as Chelsea Gray and Kahleah Copper, while Lexie Hull will also join her on the team. The league promises the highest average salaries in women's sports history and aims to provide a platform for player development during the offseason. The inaugural season will run until March 17, with a one-on-one tournament and playoffs scheduled. Games will be broadcast on TNT and streamed on Max, allowing for wider exposure of women's basketball.
