British cyclist Tom Pidcock won his second consecutive Olympic gold medal in the men's mountain biking at the Paris 2024 Olympics despite suffering a puncture mid-race. Pidcock initially took control of the race but fell 40 seconds behind French rival Victor Koretzky after the puncture.
