Ridley Scott's 'The Dog Stars' Cast Announced

Margaret Qualley, Josh Brolin, and Guy Pearce have joined the cast of Ridley Scott's new film adaptation of 'The Dog Stars,' based on Peter Heller's novel. Jacob Elordi takes on the role of Hig, a civilian pilot navigating a post-apocalyptic world alongside a tough ex-marine, Bangley, played by Brolin. Qualley will portray Cima, the daughter of a rancher, portrayed by Pearce, whom Hig encounters on his journey. The film will begin production in Italy in April, following the global success of Scott's 'Gladiator II.' The screenplay is adapted by Mark L. Smith, known for his work on 'Twisters' and 'American Primeval.' This project reunites Scott with Brolin, who previously collaborated on 'American Gangster.'
