Chelsea agrees £55m deal for Dortmund winger Gittens

Chelsea has agreed to sign 20-year-old English winger Jamie Gittens from Borussia Dortmund for a reported fee of around £55 million, with the player expected to sign a seven-year contract. The agreement was reached during the Club World Cup quarter-finals in the United States, where both clubs are competing, though final contract details are still being finalized. Gittens joined Dortmund in 2020 as a youth player from Manchester City and has since made over 100 appearances, scoring 17 goals.
