Two Fatalities in Durham Head-On Collision

A tragic head-on collision in Durham, North Carolina, on Saturday night resulted in the deaths of a woman and a child. The incident occurred around 8:37 PM on Page Road, involving a black 2015 Infiniti QX60 and a blue 2008 Chevy Cobalt driven by 35-year-old Sherri Walker. Walker was transported to a hospital where she later died from her injuries, while the driver of the Infiniti, Rodney Brower, sustained minor injuries. Four passengers, including three children under five, were in Walker's vehicle; one child later succumbed to their injuries. The remaining passengers are reported to have non-life-threatening injuries. The Durham Police Department is investigating the crash and urges anyone with information to come forward.
