Jahrome Hughes has won the 2024 Dally M Medal, edging out James Tedesco by a single point in a nail-biting finish. Hughes, playing for the Melbourne Storm, finished with 62 votes after a standout performance against the Brisbane Broncos in the final round, while Tedesco also polled maximum points but ended with 61. This marks Hughes's first Dally M award and makes him the first Kiwi halfback to win in 32 years. In the NRLW, Olivia Kernick from the Roosters secured the Dally M Female Player of the Year title, finishing ahead of Abbi Church and Lauren Brown. The awards ceremony also recognized Craig Bellamy as Coach of the Year, with various individual awards presented across the leagues.
