Cowboys Beat Commanders; Prescott Sets Divisional Record

Dak Prescott and the Dallas Cowboys beat the Washington Commanders 44-22 in Week 7, improving to 3-3-1 and re-entering the NFC playoff conversation. Prescott completed 21 of 30 passes for 264 yards, three touchdowns and no interceptions and extended a streak of four straight games with at least three passing TDs (tied for a franchise mark). He now holds the highest winning percentage against divisional opponents since 1970, surpassing Tom Brady. CeeDee Lamb returned from an ankle injury to catch five passes for 110 yards, including a 74-yard touchdown; Jake Ferguson had two TD catches and Javonte Williams contributed on the ground. Dallas’ defense added a pick-six and kicker Brandon Aubrey made NFL history with a field goal. Prescott was seen with a hand wrap after the game but downplayed concerns, calling it “nothing serious,” and the team said they will monitor him during the week.
