Inter Milan Sell Nicola Zalewski to Atalanta for €17 Million

Inter Milan has sold Polish wingback Nicola Zalewski to Atalanta for approximately €17 million, just months after signing him permanently from Roma for around €6.5 million. The 23-year-old, who is ambidextrous and has extensive experience in Serie A and European competitions, is expected to sign a contract with Atalanta until 2030 and was undergoing medical checks ahead of his debut. Atalanta's coach Ivan Juric, who previously coached Zalewski at Roma, sees him as a key replacement for Matteo Ruggeri, recently sold to Atletico Madrid. The transfer negotiations progressed rapidly, with Atalanta eager to strengthen their left flank before the transfer window closes. Zalewski's move promises him more playing time than at Inter, reflecting Atalanta's strategic squad reinforcement. Inter's interest in other players like Ademola Lookman was unrelated to this deal.
