Woman in 70s dies in three-vehicle crash in Devon

A woman in her 70s from the Taunton area of Somerset died at the scene of a three-vehicle collision on the A358 near Musbury, Devon, involving a three-wheeler Invictus trike, a Harley Davidson motorbike, and a VW Golf. The crash occurred shortly after 2pm on Sunday, July 27, 2025. Despite efforts by emergency services, the woman was pronounced dead at the scene, with her next of kin present and being supported by police. The male motorbike rider sustained minor injuries and was treated in hospital, while the male car driver was unharmed. Devon and Cornwall Police conducted a thorough investigation, closing the road for several hours before reopening it after 7pm, and are appealing to any witnesses, especially those with dashcam or CCTV footage, to come forward.
