Owned by Steve and Marie Blinn for the past 19 years, the establishment was known for its rooftop patio, affordable drinks, late-night food, and as a popular spot before and after events at the nearby Kalamazoo State Theatre, which itself recently closed. Staff and regulars described Harvey's as a family-like sanctuary and an institution in the community, reflecting on the friendships and memories formed there over decades.
