Ali Bastian Diagnosed with Stage 2 Breast Cancer

Ali Bastian, known for her role in 'Hollyoaks,' has been diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer. The 42-year-old actress discovered a lump while breastfeeding her daughter, which was initially thought to be a blocked duct. After antibiotics and other treatments failed, further tests confirmed the cancer. Bastian is currently undergoing weekly chemotherapy and will have a mastectomy and radiotherapy early next year. The diagnosis comes shortly after Bastian moved to Ireland from London for a fresh start. Her husband, David O’Mahony, and their two daughters are by her side as she navigates this challenging time, with support from medical staff at the Orchid Centre in Cork.
