Hamilton Withdraws From Mugello Tyre Test Over Roscoe

Lewis Hamilton withdrew from Friday’s Pirelli tyre test at Mugello, where he had been due to drive a Ferrari SF-25 mule alongside Charles Leclerc, and was replaced by reserve driver Zhou Guanyu. Hamilton posted on Instagram that his 13-year-old bulldog Roscoe — adopted in 2013 and a familiar presence at F1 events — has relapsed with pneumonia, was sedated in hospital, suffered a cardiac arrest during checks but was resuscitated, and is now in a coma.
