Dallas Jenkins Unveils New Projects for The Chosen

Dallas Jenkins, creator of 'The Chosen,' has announced the launch of 5&2 Studios and an expansion of the series into a Christian TV and film universe with several new projects unveiled at the ChosenCon in Orlando. Upcoming productions include a 14-episode animated series titled 'The Chosen Adventures' focusing on a young girl named Abby in Capernaum, and a six-episode unscripted series 'The Chosen In the Wild with Bear Grylls,' where the adventurer engages with cast members. Additionally, there are plans for multi-season narratives exploring the lives of Biblical figures Moses and Joseph, and a series based on the Acts of the Apostles. The fifth season of 'The Chosen' is set to premiere in 2025, with subsequent seasons continuing to depict key events in the life of Jesus. Jenkins emphasized the studio’s mission to produce authentic Bible-inspired stories, building on the show's popularity since its crowdfunding beginnings in 2017.
