British fashion designer Jean Pallant was thrilled to find one of her unique designs, an orange coat with large buttons made in 1988, in an Oxfam charity shop nearly four decades after it went missing from her warehouse. The coat, crafted at her kitchen table, was instantly recognized as special by Oxfam's Mill Hill shop manager Marina Ikey-Botchway. Pallant likened the rediscovery to 'seeing a child,' noting how the coat looked and felt as new as when it disappeared. Despite the joy of this find, five other missing pieces from her collection remain unaccounted for.
