Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young Live Album Set for Release

Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young's live performance at Fillmore East on September 20, 1969, will be officially released as a double album titled 'Live at Fillmore East, 1969' on October 25. This recording follows the band's significant second appearance at Woodstock just a few days earlier and showcases their evolution as a quartet. The album features a mix of acoustic and electric sets, including iconic tracks like 'Suite: Judy Blue Eyes' and 'Down By The River', demonstrating the group's synergy during a pivotal time in their career. Stephen Stills and Neil Young curated and mixed the recordings, emphasizing an all-analog production process for audio fidelity. This release is particularly poignant as it marks the first archival project since David Crosby's passing in January 2023. The album aims to provide fans with an authentic experience of the band's formative live performances, moving beyond previously available bootlegs.
