Trent Brown Out for Season with Knee Injury

The Cincinnati Bengals experienced a significant setback during their 38-33 loss to the Washington Commanders, as starting right tackle Trent Brown suffered a season-ending torn patellar tendon. Brown, a veteran who joined the team on a one-year deal, was injured in the second quarter and required carting off the field. First-round draft pick Amarius Mims, who had only started eight games in college, replaced Brown and is now expected to fill the role for the remainder of the season. Mims allowed one sack and two pressures in 27 pass-blocking snaps during the game. The Bengals, now 0-3, will need Mims to rapidly develop as they seek to recover from their poor start.
