Nintendo and Amazon Resume Direct Switch 2 Game Sales

Amazon US has resumed direct sales of Nintendo-published Switch 2 games after more than a year of absence, marking the end of a previous dispute that had limited access to first-party titles and consoles. Newly listed games include Mario Kart World, Donkey Kong Bananza, and editions of The Legend of Zelda, though many are temporarily out of stock as demand remains high. The Switch 2 achieved a record-breaking launch, selling over 3.5 million units worldwide in its first four days and outperforming Nintendo's earlier expectations. Despite the renewed partnership, Switch 2 consoles are still hard to find, with rapid sellouts at major retailers. Amazon's main Nintendo storefront remains partially outdated, but new game listings and bundles signal a return to normal distribution. The Switch 2 features a new Nvidia chip, 12GB of RAM, and enhanced display capabilities, contributing to its strong market performance.
