A Chinese man, surnamed Huang, died of a heart attack 13 days after undergoing an extensive dental procedure at Yongkang Deway Dental Hospital, where 23 teeth were extracted and 12 implants were placed in a single day. The procedure, known as 'immediate restoration,' was performed by a surgeon with five years of experience. Following the surgery, Huang experienced severe pain and eventually succumbed to cardiac arrest on August 28. His daughter, Shu, brought the case to public attention via an online post, expressing her grief. The Yongkang Municipal Health Bureau has launched an investigation to determine if there was a direct link between the procedure and the man's death. Medical experts have raised concerns about the safety and prudence of such extensive dental operations.
