Four Seasons to Manage Park Gstaad Hotel Renovation
The historic Park Gstaad Hotel in Switzerland is set to undergo a major transformation under the management of Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, with reopening planned for the 2026-2027 winter season. Owned by philanthropist Dona Bertarelli, the hotel, which first opened its doors in 1910, is being renovated by Squircle Capital with interior design led by Joseph Dirand. The revamped property will feature 75 rooms and suites, including luxury penthouses available for purchase, along with enhanced amenities such as multiple dining options, a spa, fitness facilities, and recreational areas like tennis courts and an ice rink. Four Seasons President Bart Carnahan expressed enthusiasm about entering the luxury market in Gstaad, while Bertarelli highlighted the hotel's legacy and its significance in the region's heritage. The project aims to blend modern elegance with the hotel’s storied past, solidifying Gstaad's reputation as a premier destination for luxury travelers. The renovation is expected to cost approximately CHF 100 million ($110 million).
