Lakers Pledge $8M for Wildfire Relief Efforts

Despite this tragedy, Redick and the Lakers are committed to supporting the local community, pledging over $8 million towards relief efforts. Redick highlighted the role of sports in providing hope and joy during difficult times, as the Lakers dedicated their upcoming game to first responders and those affected by the fires. The wildfires have claimed at least 24 lives and destroyed more than 12,000 structures, prompting the NBA to postpone several games in the region.
