A two-and-a-half-year-old girl named Neeru Gurjar fell into a borewell while playing in Bandikui, Dausa, Rajasthan, on Wednesday. Rescue operations commenced swiftly, with local authorities deploying three JCBs for excavation and ensuring oxygen supply to the trapped child through a pipe. The borewell, located on a farm, is approximately 20 to 35 feet deep, complicating rescue efforts, especially due to ongoing rain. Senior officials, including members of the SDRF and NDRF, as well as doctors, are on-site to assist with the operation. A camera has been installed in the borewell to monitor her condition, and measures have been taken to prevent rainwater from entering the pit.
