Dave Coulier, best known for his role in Full House, has been diagnosed with stage 3 non-Hodgkin lymphoma, a type of cancer that affects the lymphatic system. The diagnosis came after he experienced significant swelling in his lymph nodes following an upper respiratory infection, with one lymph node growing to the size of a golf ball. Doctors informed him that he has a 'very aggressive' form of the disease, specifically B-cell lymphoma, but a recent bone marrow test showed no signs of cancer, raising his chances of a cure to approximately 90%. Despite the overwhelming news, Coulier has begun chemotherapy and completed his first of six rounds, maintaining a positive outlook throughout his treatment. He humorously noted the drastic change from feeling mildly unwell to facing cancer, stating, 'This has been a really fast roller coaster ride of a journey.'
