Alcaraz Advances to French Open Fourth Round
Carlos Alcaraz continued his defense of the French Open title in Paris, advancing to the fourth round after defeating Fabian Marozsan and overcoming Damir Dzumhur in four sets. Alcaraz showcased resilience and flair, especially during his win over Marozsan, and maintained a strong 30-2 clay-court record since May 2024. He is set to face Ben Shelton in the next round. Elsewhere in the tournament, Aryna Sabalenka and Zheng Qinwen advanced comfortably, while defending champion Iga Swiatek stayed on track for a potential fifth Roland Garros title. Two-time runner-up Casper Ruud exited early due to injury. The tournament continues to feature notable performances and upsets as it progresses.
