India celebrated its 76th Republic Day with a grand parade at Kartavya Path in New Delhi, featuring a spectacular fly-past by the Indian Air Force (IAF) and participation from all branches of the armed forces. The event was led by President Droupadi Murmu and attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto as chief guest. Highlights included various aircraft formations, motorbike stunts by army daredevils, and cultural performances by over 5,000 artists. Air India introduced a unique 'Sky Parade' using Augmented Reality, allowing people globally to witness a digital aerial display, enhancing the celebration's reach. This year's theme, 'Swarnim Bharat: Virasat Aur Vikas,' focused on India's heritage and development. The tradition of hosting foreign dignitaries as chief guests continued, with President Subianto's visit marking a continuation of this diplomatic practice.
