WPL 2025 Schedule and Auction Details Announced

The 2025 Women's Premier League (WPL) is set to begin on February 14 and will conclude on March 15, with four host cities: Vadodara, Bengaluru, Lucknow, and Mumbai. The opening match will feature defending champions Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) against Gujarat Giants at the newly built BCA Stadium in Vadodara. The tournament will progress with six matches in Vadodara, followed by eight in Bengaluru, four in Lucknow, and concluding in Mumbai with the final matches, including the Eliminator and the final at the CCI Stadium. Matches are scheduled to start at 19:30 IST, following a single-header format without afternoon games. The WPL 2025 auction was significant for uncapped Indian players, notably Simran Shaikh, who attracted a substantial bid. The league phase ends on March 11, with the final showdown on March 15 between the group stage leader and the winner of the Eliminator.
