K.d. lang and Reclines Reunite at CCMA

Edmonton will host a special Country Music Week culminating in the Canadian Country Music Awards (CCMA) on September 14, featuring a range of free and ticketed events with various artists. A highlight will be a reunion performance by k.d. lang and the Reclines for the first time in 35 years, celebrating lang's induction into the Canadian Country Music Hall of Fame. The band, which formed in 1983 and released their last album in 1989, will perform 'Big Boned Gal.' The CCMA Awards will also feature performances by notable artists such as Brett Kissel, the Reklaws, Dallas Smith, and Jade Eagleson. This marks the first time since 2014 that Country Music Week is being held in Edmonton, providing an exciting showcase for local talent.
