Ruoning Yin triumphed at the Buick LPGA Shanghai with an impressive final round of 8-under 64, securing her fourth LPGA title and becoming the first Chinese player to win this event. Yin began the final day trailing Mao Saigo by one shot but surged ahead with a series of birdies, finishing the tournament at 25-under 263, six strokes ahead of both Saigo and Sei Young Kim, who tied for second place. The victory in her hometown was particularly meaningful for Yin, who expressed her gratitude for the opportunity to compete in China. Yin's win earned her $350,000, adding to her career earnings of over $5 million. Notably absent from the tournament were top-ranked players Nelly Korda and Lydia Ko, who are scheduled to compete in the upcoming BMW Ladies Championship in South Korea. Hye-Jin Choi recorded the lowest round of the tournament with a 62, while Yealimi Noh finished as the top American in fourth place.
