Hamilton Movie to Debut Theatrically Worldwide in 2025

Lin-Manuel Miranda has announced that the filmed version of 'Hamilton,' featuring the original Broadway cast including Miranda, Leslie Odom Jr., Daveed Diggs, and Phillipa Soo, will be released in theaters across the US, Canada, and Puerto Rico on September 5, 2025, to mark the musical’s 10th anniversary. The film, originally intended for theaters but released on Disney+ in July 2020 due to the pandemic, will now include a new prologue, 'Reuniting the Revolution,' with interviews from the cast and creators. International theatrical releases are planned for later in September and November in the UK, Ireland, Australia, and New Zealand. The movie aims to recreate the Broadway experience for cinema-goers.
