World's Oldest Man John Tinniswood Dies at 112

John Alfred Tinniswood, the world's oldest man, has died at age 112 in a care home in Southport, Merseyside, surrounded by music and love. Born on August 26, 1912, in Liverpool, Tinniswood lived through both World Wars and held an administrative role in the Royal Army Pay Corps during WWII. He attributed his longevity to 'pure luck' and moderation, enjoying a portion of fish and chips weekly without following a strict diet. Tinniswood became the oldest living man in April 2024 after the passing of Juan Vicente Pérez Mora.
