Four Mainboard IPOs Launch in India Next Week
India's primary market is set for increased activity starting May 26, 2025, as four mainboard IPOs—Schloss Bangalore Ltd, Aegis Vopak Terminals, Prostar Info Systems, and Scoda Tubes—aim to collectively raise over Rs 6,600 crore. Schloss Bangalore, backed by Brookfield and operator of Leela Palaces Hotels & Resorts, plans a Rs 3,500-crore issue, while Aegis Vopak seeks Rs 2,800 crore mainly for debt repayment and capital expenditure. Scoda Tubes, a stainless-steel tubes and pipes manufacturer, is raising Rs 275 crore, with its IPO drawing strong investor interest. The IPO surge follows a slower period, with only 12 IPOs in 2025 so far versus 91 in 2024, reflecting renewed optimism amid improved sentiment. Over 130 companies are still awaiting SEBI approval for future IPOs across various sectors. Meanwhile, Borana Weaves and Belrise Industries, whose IPOs recently concluded, are set to list next week.
