Vistry signs £270m deal for 930-home development in Milton Keynes

Vistry Group has partnered with Milton Keynes City Council to develop the Tickford Fields project, which will include 930 homes on a 45-hectare site east of Newport Pagnell, with 31% designated as affordable housing. The development will incorporate various community amenities, such as play areas, sports pitches, and pedestrian and cycle pathways, while also emphasizing sustainability through features like air-source heat pumps and eco-friendly construction methods. The project aims to preserve existing natural elements, including trees and water features, and will foster local wildlife through green corridors. An on-site Skills Academy will be established to provide vocational training for local students and unemployed individuals, enhancing community benefits. Councillor Shanika Mahendran highlighted the importance of this development in improving access to affordable housing and fostering a greener future for the city.
