Patrick Mahomes Avoids Serious Ankle Injury

Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes experienced an ankle injury scare during the team's 30-24 overtime victory against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, but he has since returned to full practice and is expected to play against the Denver Broncos. Mahomes injured his ankle while throwing a touchdown pass but did not miss any snaps in the game. He reported that while the ankle is sore, he is able to move around and is looking forward to participating in practice. Coach Andy Reid confirmed that Mahomes has not missed any practice time this week and will not face limitations as he prepares for the upcoming game.
