The Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) is seeking help from the public to locate a driver involved in a hit-and-run incident that seriously injured a 16-year-old girl riding a scooter in Orlando. The accident occurred on September 17 at approximately 6:35 a.m. on Guy Road, where the unidentified vehicle struck the rear of the scooter and fled the scene without providing assistance. The girl was taken to AdventHealth Waterford Lakes ER with serious injuries. Currently, no descriptions of the vehicle or driver are available, and the investigation is ongoing. FHP urges anyone with information to contact them or CRIMELINE, reminding that leaving the scene of an injury-causing crash is a serious offense in Florida.
