The upcoming film 'Tu Hai Meri Kiran', starring Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal, is facing significant legal trouble as Adlabs has filed a complaint alleging copyright infringement. The production company claims that the film closely resembles their previously released films, 'Caller' (2011) and 'Call' (2019), for which they hold exclusive rights. Adlabs initially sent legal notices to the producers, Echelon Productions, requesting the script to verify these claims, but has now escalated the matter to the Indian Film and Television Producers Council (IFTPC). They are demanding that Echelon halt any third-party agreements until the dispute is resolved.
