Body of Missing 21-Year-Old Found in Submerged Car in California River

Isaiah Lowe, a 21-year-old man who was reported missing on January 24 after last being seen on January 22, was found dead in his submerged car in the San Luis Rey River in Bonsall, California. The search for Lowe intensified when his mother provided information from a GPS tracking device in his vehicle, leading authorities to the crash site where debris was discovered. A dive team recovered his Chevrolet Camaro from the river on February 18, and his body was located inside the vehicle. Although officials had entered Lowe's information into a missing-persons database, he remained unaccounted for for nearly a month. The San Diego County Medical Examiner's Office is investigating the cause of death. Sheriff’s officials expressed condolences to the family during this challenging time.
