Multiple High-Speed Police Chases Lead to Arrests Across Midwest, Northwest

Several high-speed police chases involving fleeing suspects occurred across different states recently. In Missouri, Denard Dunbar was arrested after a pursuit spanning multiple cities; he had active felony warrants including unlawful possession of a firearm. Another Missouri case involved Beau Barrera, charged with first-degree attempted assault and aggravated fleeing after driving at speeds over 140 mph, nearly hitting deputies and failing sobriety tests. In Idaho, Aden Dufurrena-Parks led a chase before fleeing on foot; he was found with cocaine and drug paraphernalia. Oregon authorities arrested Matthew James Hammer following a reckless multi-mile chase that included collisions with patrol vehicles and property damage. In Texas, Zach Zuniga, a convicted felon, was apprehended after evading arrest in a stolen vehicle, which contained a firearm and ammunition.
