China and Russia Strengthen Cooperation at SCO Summit

Chinese Premier Li Qiang and Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin met in Islamabad, emphasizing the strengthening of their countries' comprehensive strategic partnership amid external pressures. Both leaders pledged to enhance economic cooperation, particularly in energy, trade, and emerging sectors like the digital economy, and to deepen collaboration within frameworks like the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) and BRICS. Li also proposed closer trilateral ties with Mongolia, indicating a desire to promote mutual trust and coordination among the three nations.
