32 Americans Win 2025 Rhodes Scholarships

The 2025 Rhodes Scholar program has selected 32 American students to receive full scholarships to study at the University of Oxford, England. Among the recipients are Ava Spinar, a U.S. Military Academy cadet, who plans to pursue global health science, and Samuel Crowe, a University of Virginia student, who will study astrophysics. The program also includes University of Chicago students Anqi Qu and Francesco Rahe, who will pursue economics and classical Indian religion, respectively. Aundrene Cameron from Jamaica also earned the scholarship to study criminology, focusing on human trafficking. The selection process involved nearly 3,000 applicants, with only 32 chosen from the U.S., emphasizing academic excellence and social impact. The students represent a diverse array of interests, from AI in economic research to promoting translations for interfaith dialogue.
